We Packed It All In for Memorial Day Weekend

In order of fun, we did many fun things this weekend. We bought bikes! It's part of inspiration to get outdoors. We can't wait to find Toby a trailer and take him out, too.

Fun thing number 2 was going on a picnic with Jodi, Sean, Cathie and Dave. We played frisbee and tossed around the football, and chased Toby all over the park. Was fun - love those guys!


Fun thing number 3 was gardening. Rob's parents both have green-thumbs and since we are more experts at killing plants, we let them take the reigns and plant beautiful things on our porch. It was great to see them. (see pictures)

Fun thing 4 was a BBQ at Gil & Nancy's house. We were able to spend Memorial Day with the most honored war veteran in Northern California. Helps that he's also Toby's Grandpa Gil (affectionately). The food was yummy and the company was great!

Fun thing 5 was a BBQ at Nico and Meg's to celebrate Meg's birthday. Toby was a crazy man running around, throwing their dog the tennis ball and doing chalk drawings. Happy Birthday, Meg!

Fun Thing 6 was a CD Draft. It's not a fantasy football draft, not a fantasy baseball draft, but a CD draft. We took all our cd's and categorized them by music type, and took turns choosing cd's for our car's. The first hour was really fun. The second hour started just to feel long and by the end we were just shoving cd's in our cases. :)

Fun thing 7 was just some relaxation and thankfulness. We're getting over our colds, enjoying our friends and family, planting a little nature, acquiring bikes to get out and enjoy nature, and appreciating what God is doing in our lives.
