One of Rob's best friends, Rahsaan, is running the Chicago Marathon for Team World Vision New York, which he is regional director for. The money he is raising from sponsorship is spent caring for, educating, and supporting underpriviliged families in the US. If you're familiar with World Vision, you're probably most familiar with their work internationally. Rahsaan works with their domestic programs which is greatly in need of support.
