Christmas Greetings 2009

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!

It's been a very fun year. Here's a recap of 2009 for the Atkins Family, and a little Christmas greeting from Toby below (video).

Year In Review:

• We're thankful to be employed and to have skirted several layoffs over the last couple of years. We are praying we keep weathering these storms in the economy.


• Jen learns to read (ok, maybe enjoy reading). Since May, I've read 9 books. And, it looks like there's just no stopping this trend.


• Toby begins his last year of Preschool. His vocabulary is increasing, and so is his love of trains. There is just no stopping the love. He has lots of great friends and lots of joy!


• We moved! We love our new place, a duplex in which we share with good friends who we love living next to. It's FUN!


• Facebook. We're connecting with friends we have been connected to in a while.


• Our first cruise - to Mexico. Not only our first cruise, but Toby and my first trip to Mexico. We are spending Christmas on a 7 day cruise this year with both sets of parents, my brother, my godson and my aunt and uncle. Should be very fun.


• So many more great things in 2009. Can't wait 2010.
