Vegas Vacation

What happens in Vegas, is really quite family-oriented and innocent - at least for us. My parents live there now and we spent a week enduring the 110 degree weather.

Rob and I had one real vacation goal in mind - see as many movies as possible. We saw 4 movies in the theatre which was really fun! Harry Potter, Pirates, Transformers, License to Wed... We also enjoyed the Zappo's Outlets (yes, so many racks of size 5 shoes I thought I was in Heaven), the flower show at the Belagio, having a dinner date with the #1 draft pick for the Timberwolves (ok, he was sitting across from us - minor detail - but Rob's a big enough fan to know), the Danny Gans show (Cal Poly alum), and yummy food.

Toby enjoyed Vegas for the following reasons:

  • The Lied Children's Discovery Museum (see pic of giant Brio train)

  • Grandparent's swimming pool

  • Train Museum (see pic's of us on the train)

  • Wild West Town w/ Grandma and Nancy

  • The park

  • and all the Cranky's downtown (a crane from the Thomas series - there's lots of construction in Vegas)

Here are some photo's of some of the fun things we did.
