Remembering The Charters of Freedom

It's fun to get reacquainted with The Charters of Freedom. As the presidential election is just weeks away, I'm hoping to spend a few minutes a week reading through them. Just reviewing the Declaration of Independence, the responsibilities of the President in the Constitution, or appreciating the first 10 amendments (The Bill of Rights) help me to remember why I love being an American.

The Constitution
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. More

Bill of Rights
Amendment I
