SoCal / Vegas Vacation

Toby and I took a week's vacation while Rob was home working (sorry, Rob!). We flew down to SoCal and my brother gave us a tour of his new home town of Hollywood and surrounding areas. Toby was very brave on the tram tour of Universal Studios. We even spent a day down in San Pedro at the beach.

After a couple of days, we roadtripped with the parents back to their home in Vegas for a week. We visited museums, parks, and lots of other fun things. It was our first time visiting the Dessert Springs Preserve. I highly recommend this. It far exceeded our expectations. The very "green" preserve is not only educational for everyone, it also is super creative in how it presents it's subjects. Loved it. Phew... back to the real world.
